Andy trained as an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and has continued to develop knowledge and experience using what works best for each individual client.
Individual Therapy, also called psychotherapy or counselling is provided in a safe, caring and confidential environment. It is a place to explore feelings, thoughts, behaviours and beliefs. In individual therapy he can assist you to work through difficulties, gain clarity and set and achieve personal goals.
Speaking openly to a neutral, nonjudgmental, professional about your concerns can have a profound effect on developing insight and making decisions.
You may be struggling with a major life crisis, stressors that have gradually built up, mental health or addiction problems, life transitions, career or relationship conflict, or something else that you can’t put your finger on. Exploring what is troubling you can lead to clarity and understanding. During therapy you can find new understanding, strategies to cope, the ability to build on your strengths and find resolution to hurt.
In therapy you can work with Andy to better understand what is blocking you from feeling peace and comfort. You will learn how to manage and cope with the difficulties, how to tap into your own personal strengths to overcome challenges so that you can minimise suffering and improve overall comfort, happiness and health.
Andy also specialises in working with young people and with people who have suffered trauma in their lives. He uses Sensorymotor Psychotherapy to help clients find healing and resources to build a better life.
